The Hatta Yoichi Memorial Park was built in memory of Yoichi Hatta, the architect of the Xi'an Irrigation System. It is located north of Tainan City. The park contains an intact collection of Japanese-style buildings, and the garden was built with Japanese craftsmanship in carpentry only to preserve the authenticity of Japan's architectural aesthetics. The outside courtyard features views of the bridge and flowing water, and the pond takes the shape of Taiwan, indicating Yuichi Hatta's strong connection to Taiwan.
