Information about Hat Nopparat Thara National Park
Hat Nouvarat Tara National Park is one of the main national parks in Thailand, and it covers a large part of the Krabi coast, including the famous beaches of Ao Nang, Nopparat Tara and Railay. The park also consists of about 80 islands, including Ko Buda, Ko Gai and the idyllic Phi Phi There are also many fossilized shells well preserved on top of a layer of shells and rocks. These fossils date back to millions of years ago, when the area was a large freshwater swamp inhabited by these small creatures that lived and died by the millions and are now petrified.
