Hastings Gardens is a public park in Valletta, located on the west side of the city gate. Within the park is a memorial to the Governor of Malta, Lord Hastings who died in 1826 and is buried in the park. The park also has a funny Maltese legend that says that the gardens only took 4 hours to build. The park is characterized by its vast and open spaces surrounded by trees, scenic landscapes, and a view of the port, making it a suitable place for a picnic with family and friends.
