The Hasan Bey Mosque was built in 1916 AD on the beach of Jaffa in the Mansheya neighborhood and is the only architectural monument in this area. The building of the mosque is characterized by its architectural design in the traditional Ottoman style, which clearly contrasts with the modern architectural style of the city of Jaffa. While the walls of the mosque are perforated with intricately decorated windows and decorated with colours, the minaret appears as a prominent landmark of the Great Mosque.
