Stretching between Shibuya and Shinjuku in Tokyo, Harajuku is often described as the site of modernity and the center of kawaii culture in Japan. Takeshita is Harajuku's most famous shopping street, with a huge number of trendy stores and modern facilities displaying exotic clothing in its colors and designs.
