The Hammam of Andalusia is also called the “Arab Baths”, and it dates back to the thirteenth century. It is located at the foot of the Alhambra Palace and behind the Church of Santa Anna, which was an old mosque. These Arab baths were opened in their current form in 1998, five centuries after they were closed. These bathrooms are characterized by mosaics with geometric designs, columns carved with arabesque motifs, and distinctive Islamic arches and domes, and today you can go for recreation in these bathrooms.
