Halsanfäsler Cave is a huge sea cave located on the beach near the small town of Vik. This cave is exceptional because of the octagonal basalt columns that decorate the entrance, and the cave overlooks the famous black beach made of eroded black basalt. The cave with its strange natural formation is one of the most important features of Iceland, which is classified as one of the wonders of the country.
