Information about Haller Park
Haller Park was established in 1971 AD, by Dr. René Haller, who turned abandoned limestone quarries into a picturesque nature reserve, as he increased the mineral content of the soil, planted trees, and brought animals to live in it. Today, Haller Park is considered one of the main attractions in Mombasa, as it is adorned with lush trees and includes walking and cycling paths. It also embraces both turtles, giraffes, crocodiles, water antelopes, buffaloes, butterflies, and more than 160 species of birds and other wonderful wild species; Do not hesitate to visit this reserve with your family or friends.
