Yotvata Zoo is located half an hour's drive from Eilat, and the zoo was opened as an environmental project to restore and recover nearly extinct wildlife in the Negev, where the zoo raises and rehabilitates animals and then releases them into the desert. The area of the park is approximately 12 km, and it is divided into several sections, some of which are open and wild animals such as elk, antelope and deer roam freely, and visitors can pass through this section by their own cars. And another section in the park is dedicated to predators, in which the animals are in cages, and among the animals in this section there are leopards, wild cats, hyenas and foxes. It is also possible in this park to camp in spaces designated for this purpose.
