Information about Gutenberg Home
It is a house built according to the design of the architects Kazimierz Pomyan Sokolovsky and Francesc Chulmysky. It was created for Jean Peterslig who purchased 1893 plots of land with buildings on them and which were decorated with ornaments of leaves and flowers. At the center of the building is a statue of Jan Gutenberg (hence the building takes its name). In the period between the two world wars, the building housed the National Party, while from 1972 to 1973 there was the exhibition of the Union of Polish Artists Club.
