The Grünberg Gmunden cable car was established in 1957 and is a cable car that transports tourists to the top of Mount Gmunden. It was dismantled and renovated the tram line in 2014. The cable car has transported more than six million passengers since its inception, and the cable car runs during the summer on half-hour tours where Tourists enjoy watching the nature of Gmunden from the top. The cable car cabin can accommodate approximately 45 people.
