There is no specific date that goes back and indicates the date of the construction of the great Simon Fod Temple, all the history papers owned tell us only that it was subjected to an earthquake in 1848 AD and many of its facilities were destroyed, and later they were restored. Today, the temple is considered one of the most prominent religious temples in the city of Shanghwa, and it is visited by tourists and visitors annually to practice religious rituals.
