An old historical building that was built 800 years ago, when you see the old pictures and designs, you will see that this building has not changed at all, at first it was used as a prison for dangerous criminals, as they were tortured and placed in solitary confinement rooms and even executed. However, this building has been restored and converted to become part of the prestigious University of Leiden, yet today you can feel the darkness that was taking place in it, especially when you visit one of the meeting rooms that was formerly a prison room that does not even have a window, to let the light in.
