Golconda Fort is located in the western part of Hyderabad, about 9 km from Hussain Sagar Lake. Originally known as Mangal, built on top of a hill in 1143, this fort was originally a mud fortress during the reign of Rajah of Warangal, and later was fortified by the Bahmani sultans and then the Qutb Shah dynasty; It is worth noting that the inner fortress of the castle contains the ruins of palaces and mosques, in addition to a pavilion that rises about 130 meters above the hill that gives you a comprehensive view of the buildings and the surrounding area.
