The Goethe House Museum was established in the main house in which the German philosopher and poet Johann Goethe lived while he was in the German city of Weimar, where he moved to in 1782 AD and lived there for nearly 50 years. A group of manuscripts and books he owned and which he kept in his private library, where today tourists can visit, study inside and enjoy its distinctive furniture, and this applies to the rest of the rooms of the house that contain original furniture and many collectibles belonging to the poet.
