The island is located in the middle of the Nile River between central Cairo and Giza, and includes two of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Cairo, Al-Jazirah neighborhood and Zamalek neighborhood, making it contain a group of the most prominent landmarks of Cairo, including the Cairo Tower, the Egyptian Opera House, the Cairo Sports Club and a group of natural parks, hotels, restaurants and simple kiosks. The island has a special charm because the Nile River borders it on all its sides. It has wonderful views of both Giza and Cairo, especially in the evening when the area sparkles with colorful lights.
