The Geological Museum is divided into six sections, ranging from fossils, volcanoes, minerals, ore deposits, mineral waters, and finally the rock lithology section. It is dedicated to presenting the achievements of the Republic of Armenia according to the regions of the geological structure and showing its natural resources to visitors. It includes maps of the minerals and rocks area and fossil samples of animals and plants, in addition to the skeleton of a prehistoric elephant and other holdings that number more than 13 thousand samples.
