In the center of Potsdam is a monument that symbolizes political persecution and violence in the various dictatorships in the twentieth century in Germany. This museum is located in the former courthouse and prison. The focus is on the people who were imprisoned and sentenced for political reasons during the Nazi dictatorship and the Soviet occupation, where you will see the rooms, torture instruments and offices of the dictators.
