The city gates of Minsk are two identical high towers in the classical Stalin style (empire style). This style combines elements of Baroque and Late Classicism. These gates are distinguished by their grandeur and luxury. These gates are unforgettable, especially at night, due to their interesting lighting. The history of these gates dates back to two years before construction began. In 1945, a number of archaeological excavations were conducted in the city of Minsk before the construction of the subway station, during which, researchers discovered the remains of the old wooden gate and decided to build the "twin towers".
