The Gate of Heavenly Peace, is a huge gate in the center of Beijing, and is widely used as a national symbol of China. It was built during the Ming Dynasty in 1420, and was the entrance to the Forbidden City. The gate received great political attention recently, and in 1949 the pictures of Mu Zi were hung. Tong to celebrate the Second Chinese War, and is now considered the arena, the arena for official ceremonies and military parades.
