Gardjola Gardens - Valletta: Working hours, Activities, Visitor reviews
Information about Gardjola Gardens
The Gardgola Gardens were planned in 1551, and have a wonderful panoramic view of the Grand Harbor and Fort St. Angels. The gardens also contain palm trees, which would provide a place to relax under the shade while enjoying the wonderful view. The gardens also feature a beautiful guard tower built at the edge of the forts. The guard tower contains many carved symbols such as the eye, the ear and the crane bird, which represent the guard force protecting the Maltese shores. The eye on the tower is also a famous symbol representing Malta, as it appeared in many brochures about the island.
