Located on the shores of Lake Annecy, the Gardens of Europe is one of the city's most popular tourist destinations, and is a historical site in use since the Middle Ages. It is a romantic English garden designed by Henry Porreaux in 1863, and contains about 250 trees, including Lily, pine and giant sequoia, where you can enjoy a walk by the lake on sunny afternoons, and it is also a great destination where children can play freely.
