The Ganghwa Peace Observatory was established in the northern part of the civilian restricted area in Cheolsan-ri, and access to this area was off-limits to the general public until 2008. Since then, this observatory has provided visitors with an opportunity to see the natural ecosystem of this area and displays images related to the war. Korean (1950-1953), and has a small memorial area where you can pay tribute to the fallen civilians/soldiers. If you cannot go to North Korea, this is your best option to look at areas of it clearly, but it is preferable to go on a clear day to be able to see as clearly as possible.
