Giano Castle is located in the Maya Alta region and is one of the oldest castles of Merano and its surroundings. The castle can be identified by the huge cracks and elephant inscriptions on one of the quinces, and by a high circular wall surrounding the tower, where the architecture of the castle was distinguished for its beauty and uniqueness. Today, the castle still stands tall, attracting tourists and visitors from all over the country.
