The city of Kadir is considered one of the oldest Phoenician settlements in western Spain, which is considered one of the archaeological sites testifying to the country's long history. The site is divided into different levels corresponding to the different periods of occupation of the settlement, where the layout of streets, houses and tools of the ninth century BC can be distinguished. The streets were paved with mud at the same time as the first buildings were built, and it is interesting to note, as can still be seen, the petrified tracks of the many cows that crossed these roads. The site is divided into different levels, corresponding to the different periods of occupation of the settlement, in which the street layout, houses and tools of the ninth century BC can be distinguished. Eight houses are distributed on two terraces and are organized around them by two cobblestone streets. All these constructions were built according to what is known as earth architecture, that is, they are mainly made of mud and clay.
