The clock tower dates back to 1835 and has a height of 27.70 meters and is a perfect example of Bulgarian architecture. The clock was designed by craftsman Ivan Sahatchiyata Gabrovo. The bell was imported from Vienna, and the rest of the accessories were only fitted to the tower after liberation From the Ottoman rule in 1878. The white clock tower in the center of Gabrovo is one of its symbols and one of its most prominent tourist attractions.
