Fulda Park is a local recreation area located in the southeastern part of the city of Kassel. It was established in the late seventies for the Federal Horticultural Exhibition in 1981 AD as an inner city park on the east bank of Fulda. The park includes lakes and a waterway extending along it. The waterway allows Fulda Park Only by pass are the excursion boats and sport boats as well as a fleet of canoes, rowers and excursions. You can also find time for a hot or cold drink at one of the cafes near the park.
