The Fritztal River feeds many of the rural natural and agricultural areas of St. Johann, and therefore is the main source of water in many areas. The river is characterized by its stagnant and cold water, which is in continuous flow, and trees and green natural areas are spread on the sides of the river, which constitute natural attractions for visitors, to spend a special time among the folds of nature, tree branches and water tributaries.
