Information about Freixo Bridge
Built in the eastern part of Porto as a replacement for the Arrabida and Luis I bridges, the Frixo Bridge was inaugurated in September 1995 by António Reis and Daniel de Sousa, and is in fact a double bridge with two floors separating them. Only 10 cm, with a total length of 705 meters, has 8 spans in total, is built of reinforced concrete with the use of new technologies.
