Located in the western front yard of Buda Castle in Budapest, Matthias Fountain was built by Alajos Stróbl. The group depicts a hunting team led by Matthias Corvinus, King of Hungary. Bronze statues stand on piles of rocks against the backdrop of the north facade of the former castle church, and water flows between cracks in the rocks; It is worth noting that the entire arrangement of the statues resembles the famous Trevi Fountain in Rome although it is on a much smaller scale.
