The Fortifications Translation Center is where you learn a lot about fortifications in Malta. In this building you will find fascinating exhibitions of military architecture in general, which take you from the Bronze Age walls to the time when Malta was a British colony, as well as its participation during World War II. You will also find some artifacts, such as the bridge dating back to the 17th century which is likely to have been the original drag bridge used for the main gateway.
