Fort A, which was built between 1912-1915 AD, is located about 5 kilometers north of Yerst Castle. During the period of its construction, the First World War was ongoing, and as the front approached Brest-Litovsk, the fortification was hastily erected, but the construction was never completed. After a number of years, its construction was completed. Today, the fort has a place of historical and cultural value.
