An amazing fortress built by British forces at the beginning of World War II, specifically in 1939. Its importance stems from its proximity to the port. It is different from the other forts in Malta that it was established to be a fortress against air attacks, and they succeeded in making it so by camouflaging its buildings to resemble civilian homes and making them scattered, and the protective wall of the fort was thin and unclear. The fortress certainly succeeded in camouflaging, as it was not subjected to any raid during the long war.
