The Folklore Museum in Bruges lets you enter the homes and businesses of the ancient inhabitants of Bruges from the turn of the 17th century. The museum is housed in a row of eight historic 17th-century buildings that were at one time also homes to a shoemakers' guild with one-room dwellings. The museum contains an additional modern architectural annex. In the historic whitewashed houses, you can see rooms that have been set up to resemble Scandinavian families.
