Lake Flückiger covers an area of 10 hectares in the Freiburg region. Developed for sand and gravel mining by the construction company Flückiger in the 1920s, mining in the lake was discontinued in 1983, as the surrounding area became increasingly populated, and in 1986 the lake became part of the International Garden Show, don't miss it with your family and friends.
