The museum was officially opened in 2019 and established on an area of 600 square meters in 2020. It displays live flood models, photos and videos of flood events from history to the present, landslides that cause floods, classic and innovative types of flood control and debris, and interactive river models. Urban floods, hydraulic models, virtual reality room, Trabzon flood disaster model, flood early warning system, as well as a digital map showing if your home is at risk of flooding.
