Located next to an air base in Zurich, the Swiss Air Force Museum or "Flieger Flap" Museum presents the aviation and military history of Switzerland, especially during the First and Second World Wars. Through interactive exhibits, visitors learn about air weapons, jet fighters, dangerous rescue operations and the disarmament period, view more than 40 models of helicopters and air planes, and tour the museum with former pilots or military personnel serving as guides.
