An hour's drive from the small village of Fik, is the Fjaðrárgljúfur Valley, or as they call it, the Valley of Tears, which is considered one of the natural wonders in southeastern Iceland. The geographical location of the valley is nearly two million years old, as estimated by geologists, and its depth reaches up to 100 meters long and about 2 kilometers long, it is intended for nature lovers who enjoy charming views from the top of the river flowing through the valley, the rocky composition of the valley, camping near it, and taking long hiking trails.
