A provincial park rated as one of the best in Ontario, much of this park is covered by white pine and the park contains century-old trees and a group of 300-year-old oaks next to the Carp River. The park also includes two types of campgrounds, rest stations, in addition to boats and a garden park. The main camp has 235 campsites, with 205 trailer rooms, and a separate area with facilities for group camping and barbecue .
