The Fire Tower is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the city of Sopron. It is considered the tallest tower in the city, with a height of about 58 meters. It is an archaeological tower dating back to the thirteenth century, and is characterized by its unique architecture. It consists of several building styles at the same time, as it combines between Classical and modern baroque style together, as the tower stands on Roman foundations. The tower includes a huge spiral staircase consisting of 200 steps, as well as a balcony that provides a full view of the city, as the tower is open to visitors, which means they can climb on the balcony and view the entire city from above and enjoy a panoramic view of the slopes of the Austrian Alps.
