The Ferris wheel is located on Mount Akhun in Sochi, at an altitude of 701 meters above sea level. This wheel reaches the highest point of attraction on Mount Akhun, located a few meters from the Akhun Tower, and has become the highest vantage point of the city panorama. From the top you can enjoy a wonderful view of the sea, Olympic facilities, as well as the mountains of the main Caucasus mountain range. The place is very convenient for taking photographs. It is worth noting that the wheel rotation speed is low, as it takes 8.5 minutes to complete one cycle. The wheel has a diameter of 38 meters and a weight of 65 tons and rests on the foundation, where 600 tons of concrete is poured.
