Fateh al-Khair is the name of a ship that is currently part of an open-air museum dedicated to the shipbuilding pedigree of the Omani city of Sur. The wooden fishing vessel of Fatah al-Khair was built more than 70 years ago and has strong historical significance. It is said that the ship was made by hand without any nails, and hand-woven ropes were used to support it. Here visitors are not allowed to climb the boat but they can come close to have a look at the pavilions.
