The Evangelical Church in Kassel is a federation of a number of Protestant regional Lutheran, Reformed and United churches and denominations in Germany, which together comprise the great majority of Protestants in that country. The church was distinguished by its distinctive design, which was different from the design of churches in that era, as its features were characterized by beautiful simplicity, and hand-made inscriptions on the walls and domes. The church is still to this day carrying out its religious activities such as marriage ceremonies, baptisms and birthday celebrations, where it was and still is the assembly of visitors and tourists.
