The permanent exhibition at the Museum of Estonian History showcases 11,000 years of Estonia's history, helps to understand the merit of the people who lived in Estonia and presents the historical events that affected them the most. The Great Guild Hall is one of the most outstanding public buildings in this museum and in the city. Over the centuries a variety of events have taken place in this hall from grand parties to church services and court proceedings.
