About a half-hour drive from Edmonton, Elk Island National Park is home to flocks of natural wildlife including elk, deer, moose and bison. This area is also known to be home to more than 250 different species of birds. Covering an area of 194 square kilometers, Elk National Park is the eighth smallest park in Canada by area but the largest fully enclosed national park in Canada.
