The Palatino Café is a space in front of the famous Jose Marti Park in Sanfuegos. Built as a house in 1842 in a triangular style with a pitched red tiled roof and large columns in its facade, it is the oldest preserved building in the vicinity of the old Plaza de Armas. Sweet drinks are sold in this café and since then it has been a convenient center for the activities and evening meetings of local artists and intellectuals.
