El Kala National Park is located in the far northeastern border of Algeria, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, and it is one of the largest national parks in Algeria, covering nearly 800 square kilometers, and since its establishment in 1983, the park has proven to be worthy of conservation, and in 1990 Recognized as a UNESCO biological reserve, it is home to a unique ecosystem that protects the biodiversity of plants, animals and marine life not found in other parts of Africa.
