Founded in the 19th century, the Aegean University Museum of Written and Paper Arts is one of the former Levantine palaces of the University of Aegean. In this museum, which also includes an art gallery, nearly 1,000 pieces have been collected with donations from individuals, foundations and artists, which are distributed in the exhibition room of handmade paper production, organic writing materials, international colored papers and paper art, and the modern paper art departments, and on the upper floor there are Book arts departments, laboratories, printing house, artist books, children's books, book formats, printing techniques and mini-books.
