The Museum of the Martyr's Memorial was opened in 1977, in honor of the martyrs who died while defending the homeland, upholding the values of soldiering and consolidating the great sacrifices they made. The edifice was distinguished by a unique architectural design, whose outer building resembles the shape of the Holy Kaaba, and verses from the Holy Quran are engraved on its outer walls. Today, the edifice is considered one of the most important museums and distinctive tourist attractions in the country.
