The Eastern Maibon Temple is a Hindu temple built by order of King Rajendravarman II in the 10th century. It is distinguished by its amazing carvings, sandstone towers and animal statues, as well as brick shrines, and the base of the temple is decorated with stone carvings. In the form of elephants, it is surrounded by dirt cliffs indicating that this temple was never completed and is a visual evidence of how the temples were built.
